Physical Therapist
Job Description:
A well-established outpatient rehabilitation organization is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join its Casa Grande clinic.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, provide evidence-based treatment, and help patients improve their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. This position is ideal for a clinician who values personalized care, professional collaboration, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients.
Pelvic-floor treatment experience is a plus but is not required. Clinicians interested in developing this specialty may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and identify functional limitations, impairments, and treatment needs
- Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, physician recommendations, patient goals, and applicable standards
- Provide skilled physical therapy services using evidence-based treatment techniques
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home-exercise programs, injury prevention, and continued progress
- Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, and other required documentation
- Communicate with physicians, referral sources, insurance representatives, and other members of the patient's care team
- Coordinate care with physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and other clinical employees
- Ensure appropriate delegation and supervision of patient-care activities
- Participate in clinical meetings, continuing education, quality-improvement initiatives, and employee training
- Maintain a safe, organized, professional, and patient-focused treatment environment
- Support positive relationships with patients, families, referral partners, and members of the local community
- Follow all applicable clinical, ethical, privacy, safety, billing, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional clinical responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
- Current Arizona Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based patient care
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
- Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage an appropriate patient caseload in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard workplace technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience
- Pelvic-floor treatment experience or an interest in developing pelvic-health expertise
- Experience treating orthopedic, sports-related, vestibular, occupational, or work-related conditions
- Experience working with physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation support employees
- Familiarity with insurance authorization, clinical documentation, and reimbursement requirements
- New graduates with strong clinical preparation and an interest in mentorship are encouraged to apply
Compensation and Hiring Incentives
Full-time compensation begins at approximately $90,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, schedule, specialty expertise, and other job-related factors.
Qualified candidates may also be eligible for hiring incentives totaling up to $28,000, which may include:
